Our boats

There are a range of boats sailing with the Torbay Model Yacht Club. The largest racing fleet consists of 27 Dragon Flite 95s, this number seems to grow on a weekly basis and makes for some competitive racing.

Alongside the Dragon Flite fleet we have a number of Footies (4 at the last count), 5 Dragon Force 65s, a Joysway Focus, 5 6M an IOM and a NorthWind.

Several members own classic or vintage radio controlled yachts, we have several Marbleheads and a lovely Six Metre out sailing, these always draw a crowd when out on the water, and we have 2 J Class yachts currently in build, one vintage scratch built and one new part kit.

The club is keen to encourage owners of older boats to come along and sail with us,
